On tour in tiny Floyd, VA, Pi met the head of Travianna Records at a gig and was offered a record deal on the spot. Pi recorded in Floyd with producer Aaron Ramsey, resulting in a blend of Pi's “Americana bluesy rock thing,” and Aaron's deep Bluegrass roots.
